Financial Capital...

The Market System must be controlled by strong, enforceable rules and regulations, such as were established through The Glass-Steagal Act (1933) during the Great Depression.

In particular, the banking system should NOT be allowed to:

Accrual Accounting
Government
Human Capital
Public Banks

Make loans to national governments! This gift the banks did nothing to earn, and we pay for it through our tax dollars. Isn't that unconstitutional?

Make loans to foreign governments

Acquire insurance companies

Acquire mortgage firms

Certainly should not be allowed to engage in speculation in bonds, derivatives, hedge funds, 'financial instruments', or any other stock market entities!

Society ought not to be governed by markets, as is currently the case; rather, markets need to be governed by we, the people.
